Raise the Wage Tukwila BBQ & Picnic

Meet fellow community members, volunteers, Tukwila residents and workers as we celebrate our progress so far & prepare for an intense fall campaign! Be in the loop about next steps, what the election will look like, and what we need to do to win a raise for thousands of workers in our community.

Where: Outside at Riverton Park United Methodist Church
3118 S 140th St, Tukwila, WA 98168

How to get there: The church is transit accessible via light rail to the Tukwila International Boulevard station, with a transfer to the Metro Route 128 or 124 to take you up the street. Or, it’s about a mile to walk from the light rail station. We will also be providing car transportation from the light rail station.

What to bring: Yourself, family & friends! We will be providing meat & vegan burgers and hotdogs, snacks and beverages. You don’t need to bring anything, but you’re welcome to bring something to share for the picnic. We will also be collecting donations of non-perishable food, clothing and household items for the church’s food pantry and thrift shop.

All are welcome at this celebration and no donation is required.
